I received an amazing and exciting gift from my love. The camera I have been dreaming of for quite some time!!! My new camera is yielding fantastic fun during my snow days!! I will have to trek outside to get some of the obligatory snow photos next...

New fun with an "old passion"

Recently, I have been pursuing my photography as a career again. This time on the side and mostly as a hobby. School has started back up and I am more than happy to report this is my last year. I believe the photography has been a nice distraction. So far I have only taken on two photo jobs. I have made a Facebook page dedicated to my business AND an Etsy.com page. Please check them out and be sure to "like" them as well!

Summer Highlights

Summer (after classes finished) has been wonderful! This is my absolute favorite season. I have been enjoying the heat and sun. Our summer's highlights have included two weeks at the beach. One with my family in Ocean City, New Jersey then one week with my boyfriend's family in Long Beach Island, New Jersey. Arthur was able to partake in the Ocean City vacation, which made both him and me happy.

Another perk this summer was discovering our local dog park. Thanks to a friend and his new puppy we frolic there regularly.

The most recent highlight occurred this past Saturday, one of my best friends weddings! I had the privilege of being her Maid of Honor!

Homemade Baked Donuts

Since I am done with my summer semester of school I made donuts! Not just any donuts, baked delectable donuts!! I followed a recipe I found online but ended up altering it a bit. 

Here is the finished product. I will admit it is not a "typical donut." Nonetheless I suggest you try it! I am still in the midst of writing my altered version, recipe to follow...

Are we there yet??

The answer to my question in this title is not quite, but we are close. Next week I have finals. While no one ever says "Yes! Finals!" I am very excited to have an end to yet another semester. On the other hand, I have finals next Monday then return to summer classes the Monday after that. Summer will be "bootcamp" so I am told. Six weeks of 5 days a week with 3 days being clinical...Yuck. Hopefully that will fly by...
This past weekend I spent living it up with friends. A last hurrah before my self-inflicted punishment exciting learning experience. This was a mini-post with no real point but there it is. Have a photo from my birthday to share (it was awesome by the way.)
